Leveraging Hispanics in Philanthropy’s 39 years of expertise and network, the PowerUp Fund and our LATINX Launchpad pitch competition are focused on increasing Latinx participation and success in the innovation economy by funding and supporting Latinx startup leaders.
We are launching a new Latinx Impact Venture Fellows paid internship program to provide next generation investors & entrepreneurs an opportunity to help lead the change and gain valuable experience.
Length: Winter Session is 10-weeks
(October 18-December 17, 2021)
Commitment: 10 hours a week
Fellows will primarily work on sourcing and diligence assignments, with occasional portfolio support and other operational activities as needed. You will be expected to meet all together once a week, Monday’s at noon PST, and then as necessary with each other, with the Fund team and with prospective startups/founders. When possible, we will give fellows a choice in what markets or industries they cover. In addition to weekly check-in’s, we will have occasional speaker events led by portfolio companies or network leaders. Given this is a pilot program, we will be trying new things and looking for you to innovate with us.

Must be a current active graduate level student to be eligible.
